From application to first job
Step 1: Apply
Tell us about you, your services and the area you cover. Applications open in the provider app.
Step 2: Verify
Complete ID, right-to-work and DBS checks, and upload your insurance.
Step 3: Get approved
We review your documents and let you know the outcome in the app.
Step 4: Start earning
Set your availability, accept jobs nearby and get paid weekly.

Typical job value
from £69per standard clean
Indicative customer price for a standard clean of up to 12 panels on a 2-storey home. You receive the job price minus the Vimells platform fee, which is shown before you accept any job. This is not a promise of income: what you earn depends on the jobs you take.

Go online when it suits you and choose how far you're willing to travel.
Weekly payouts
Earnings are paid weekly to your bank account through Stripe Connect.
No chasing leads

Requirements
What technicians need
We keep the bar high so customers can book with confidence. Every check happens before your first job, and we track expiry dates so you stay bookable.
- Photo ID with a liveness check, and the right to work in the UK
- A Basic DBS certificate (we can arrange one, or accept one under 12 months old)
- Public liability insurance, minimum £2m cover
- Working-at-height competence for roof access, plus PASMA or IPAF if you use towers or MEWPs
- Pure-water cleaning equipment and suitable PPE
- Two references or six photos of previous work
- A UK bank account for payouts through Stripe

Move crews and kit for solar jobs
As we grow, drivers will transport technician crews and equipment to larger and commercial jobs, and deliver kit to job sites.
This is not passenger transport. Driver jobs are logistics for solar-care work only. Join the waitlist and we’ll contact you when driver roles open.
What drivers will need
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
- A DVLA check code so we can verify your licence
- A van insured for business use, with a valid MOT
- A Basic DBS certificate
